Always glad to help a neighbor
Last week a former client of mine that I had just traveled down here to SW Florida to move into their new home. They arrived late and it was a new home in a new neighborhood.
About 7pm a realtor friend of mine called and asked if I knew or could find out the location of this clients main water on/off valve. It seems they had moved in but could not figure out how to turn on the water to their new house. I could have gone home, looked over their old inspection report and reported back to the friend who would have then had to report back to her client where and how to turn on the water or I could just go over there and figure it out. I chose to just go over there.
A quick 20min trip later I was at their door. 2 minutes later I figured it out, a kind of hidden valve, and I was off back home with good wishes to them and congratulations on there new home.
I was raised to help a neighbor whenever possible.
